Born Ljubomir Urosevic in a refugee hospital in Munich, Lou has struggled all his life with people screwing up his name. That's why he took the stage name, Lou Savage. He figured that no one could mess that up. People always ask, "So you were born in Germany. Do you speak German?" The answer is, "No." He's actually half Sebian and half Croatian.

Lou was was an altar boy in the Orthodox Church until he was 18. He would've quit sooner if he wanted to break his mother's heart. Ultimately, he realized that if he didn't quit at 18, the robe he had worn since age 11 would cease to fit.

He started playing guitar at age 4, then became a drummer in Junior High. He finally graduated from the Cleveland Institute of Music with a degree in Doublebass.

Lou is the Pop musician in the band and always plays by ear regardless of what's on the written page, much to the chagrin of the other musicians. His beautiful wife, Deborah is the only reason he's not in a mental institution.
