Lou Savage is an actor, voiceover artist, writer and musician living in Southern California.
His voice has been heard on commercials for Universal Studios, Lexus, Chrysler, Union 76 and dozens of other products. Click for a more extensive VO list. He often records from his own ProTools and Digital Performer studio.
As a TV actor, he's been seen on Days of Our Lives, The District and Port Charles, and has performed in a number of independent films.
He's also been seen in industrials for Nikken, Allergan, Acura the San Diego Police and KPBS in San Diego.
Lou has also enjoyed a long career as a musician. He plays bass and piano, sings and writes. He's created music for companies like JVC, Kawai and Disney and has performed with acts ranging from Cab Calloway, The Righteous Brothers and Percy Sledge, to comedians like Bob Hope and Jay Leno. He graduated from the Cleveland Institute of Music with a degree in Doublebass. (Doublebass, for those who don't know, is a bass fiddle, a standup bass, a string bass, acoustic bass, contrabass, dog house, etc.) At the Cleveland Institute, Lou studied orchestral and opera repertoire with teachers Larry Angell and Dave Perlman of the Cleveland Orchestra.
He also writes essays, articles and screenplays based on whatever nonsensical topics pass through his mind. He'll soon be performing his original play called "Welcome to Fitzgerald and Sons" with its co-creators, Deborah Savage and Melissa Ritter.
He's the proud father of two children, Kristian and Elizabeth.
